Tetley indulgence flavour blends review

Tetley recently contacted me to ask if I would like to try their new flavoured tea range. I’m actually more of a coffee drinking girl, but I do quite like a nice soothing cup of tea now and again.

Tetley have blended their Kenyan black tea with a range of tempting flavours inspired by the nations favourite teatime treats.

The tea can be enjoyed with or without milk and at only 2 calories a cup, you can afford to indulge as much as you like!

Gingerbread – Spicy, warming, comforting. Gingerbread is without a doubt my favourite flavour so I knew I would love this one! It’s like a hug in a mug.

Chocolate mint – I wasn’t sure this flavour would work in a black tea but it really does. So refreshing. It’s like the healthier equivalent to having an after dinner mint chocolate!

Spiced apple – I really liked this one. Warming, spicy and sweet all at the same time. Perfect to warm you up when you’ve come home on a freezing cold day.

Cookies & cream – I have to admit I was skeptical about this. But as soon as I poured the hot water onto the teabag, all I could smell was the lovely flavour of sweet biscuits. It certainly smelled lovely – but how would it taste? Really nice actually! The sweet, creamy taste makes you feel like you’re indulging in a naughty treat when you really aren’t. I preferred this one with a little milk.

My second favourite was the gingerbread – so warm and spicy, but not too overpowering!

Tetley Indulgence flavour blends are available in Asda RRP £1.99 for 20 bags.

I was sent a selection of the tea in exchange for an honest review.

  1. What unusual flavours especially Cookies & Cream one! I’m especially intrigued by Chocolate Mint one though as I love a bit of peppermint tea now and again. Is it similar to herbal mint tea only with a hint of chocolate? x
